35 years of RT ideals

Round Table Oporto 1 and, hence, Round Table Portugal, was formed with the support and incentive of Round Table Hannut 34, the charter meeting taking place on March 10th, 1984. Round Table Porto 1 then went on to support the creation of the short-lived Round Table Braga 2, in 1987.

Round Table Oporto 1 is just celebrating three and half decades of fellowship, amusement, and activity, committed to ensuring another 35 years filled with success and dedicated to maintaining the ideals and organization set forth by Marchesi, several decades ago.

Many friends have shared our Table throughout its existence, contributing, each in his own way, to the perpetuation of the Tabling spirit and message. Some of them have decided to carry on living the joys of tabling and formed the first 41’s Club in Portugal.

We hope we may contribute to the setting up of new Tables in Portugal and abroad, promoting the development of the movement throughout the World.
